Coffee is in Our DNA, Always Has Been
Late nights writing, rehearsing and performing come with early mornings. So we reached for great coffee to help get it all done. It didn't take long for us to start seeking out the best coffee we could find and taking it with us on the road everywhere we went. After over a decade of searching for our favorite beans and experimenting with roasting (sometimes in our kitchen), we thought it was high time to share it with the world. So here we are, sharing something we love with you. We’re happy you’re here.

Why Be Bitter
When You Can Be Bold
There’s a trend with new artisanal coffee companies to roast coffees with big flavors. We like that. But they also tend to be, what they call “peppery,” “ spicy,” or “citrusy”. In other words, bitter. Don’t get us wrong, we love coffee that has bold flavors. But we like it super smooth, not bitter or acidic. The kind of cup that kicks your ass and soothes your soul.
Consumerism Needs To Evolve
As coffee lovers, we drink an insane amount of coffee. Single-serve pods are great for a quick cup when we are in a rush, but we are deeply concerned about the plastic waste they create. Same with coffee bags, which often can't be recycled. Why aren't coffee companies trying to come up with something better? The big guys wouldn’t do it, so we decided to do it ourselves. We believe in doing what you love. But whatever we do, let’s make sure it’s sustainable.
